The IGA and Coca-Cola Olympic Trip Giveaway is a retailer incentive program exclusively for Independent Grocers Alliance members.

Three U.S. retailers will receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the 2024 Paris Olympics. This incredible package includes flights, accommodations, event tickets, access to exclusive Coca-Cola events, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the world's greatest athletes compete on the Olympic stage.

In addition to the grand prize, winners may also gain recognition as an IGA Coca-Cola brand ambassador. They will have premier access to future Coca-Cola and IGA promotional campaigns.

    Get Started

Register for the contest via the button below and work with your store teams and bottlers to create fun, Coca-Cola sales-building campaigns for the remainder of 2023.

From displays to social media campaigns and fun, imaginative tactics in between, anything goes! Our advice? Focus on what's happening now — summer barbecues, upcoming holidays, family meals — and making Coca-Cola products a part of those events. (The Olympics are a year away, so there's no need to focus your efforts on the games.)

    How to Enter

    1. Register

To participate, retailer members of the Independent Grocers Alliance will need to register for the contest here. Registration can occur at any time between June 28, 2023 and January 24, 2024.

    2. Grow Coca-Cola Sales

Participants will have the remainder of 2023 to grow Year Over Year (YOY) volume sales of Coca-Cola bottler-delivered beverages* in their store(s)**. Tactics may include in-store displays, promotional events, innovative marketing strategies, etc.

    3. Submit an Essay

Submit an essay describing how your store worked with your bottler to grow sales for this effort, including any display photos or files that illustrate digital campaigns (essay will be 500 words or less).

    How Winners Are Chosen

    1. Performance Evaluation

A committee of Coca-Cola and Independent Grocers Alliance representatives will assess the performance of each participant based on their sales achievements (provided by the bottlers), creativity, and overall marketing efforts. Coordination with their bottler (as outlined in a joint summary of efforts), effective promotional campaigns, and the ability to generate excitement for Coca-Cola will be key evaluation criteria.

    2. Winner Determination

At the end of the contest period, three participants who have demonstrated exceptional salesmanship, innovation, and a strong connection with the Coca-Cola brand will be crowned the winner. Their efforts in terms of sales, marketing, and coordination with their local bottler will have set them apart as the most deserving candidate to represent Coca-Cola at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
